Education, not diagnosis
MSvix is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent multiple sclerosis or any other condition, and is not a substitute for a physician, neurologist, registered dietitian or other qualified healthcare professional.
EDSS and AI-generated information
An official Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) score requires professional clinical assessment. Self-reported disability measures are not clinical EDSS results. When a medical report explicitly states EDSS, it may be displayed as a documented historical value, but AI cannot validate or independently infer a clinical score. OCR and AI can make mistakes; review extracted data before use.
Relapses and urgent symptoms
The relapse assistant is informational only. Sudden weakness, major visual changes, difficulty breathing or swallowing, confusion, stroke-like symptoms and other severe or rapidly worsening symptoms warrant urgent medical assessment. Contact local emergency services when appropriate. Do not wait for an app alert.
Nutrition, exercise and supplements
No single MS diet or supplement regimen has been proven suitable for everyone. Fitness calorie estimates, hydration targets and food scores are approximate educational aids. Do not start, stop or change DMT medicines, supplements, exercise restrictions or prescriptions based solely on the app.
Availability and clinical responsibility
Content may be incomplete, outdated, translated imperfectly or inapplicable to your condition. Always consult your medical team for individualized decisions, laboratory interpretation and medication safety.
