1. Scope and operator
This policy describes MSvix, a multiple-sclerosis education and self-management Android application and the msvix.replixa.ai website. Project contact: husame@gmail.com. The Android app may use device storage, health integrations and optional third-party services depending on the features the user enables.
2. What you may enter
Optional profile data may include name, age, country, height, weight, MS type, medical therapy, symptoms, disability scores, medical reports, nutrition records, physical activities, and medication schedules. Health data is sensitive. Only submit information you choose to provide.
3. On-device storage and optional services
Some journal and profile data may be stored locally on your phone. Features such as food product lookup, advertising, purchase verification, Health Connect, and optional AI report analysis can involve third parties or your own configured server. The app must show a separate in-app disclosure and obtain consent before sending medical report text for cloud AI analysis. Never assume every screen is entirely offline.
4. Purpose and choices
Information is used to deliver the features you enable: diary, reminders, food checks, report summaries, health-related trends and purchase/ad handling. Permissions such as notifications, camera and Health Connect are optional and should be requested only when relevant. Users can decline optional access.
5. Ads, billing, and third parties
A free tier may use Google AdMob, subject to consent choices and applicable rules; an optional paid plan may remove advertising. Subscription payments use Google Play Billing. Food data may be looked up through Open Food Facts; health activity through Android Health Connect; optional cloud AI may use an external AI processing provider. Review the app implementation before making definitive Data Safety disclosures.
6. Security and retention
Use secure HTTPS, access restrictions and reasonable technical safeguards when processing data on your server. On-device records remain under the user’s device controls. Cloud retention and deletion periods depend on what is actually configured and must be stated accurately before launch. This document makes no claim of end-to-end encryption, zero collection, or HIPAA compliance.
7. Your rights and requests
You can request access, correction or deletion of personal data held by the operator using the contact email, subject to applicable laws and identity verification. Visit the separate Data & Account Deletion page for guidance. Removing your local data may require in-app deletion or device storage removal. Uninstalling may not remove cloud-held data.
8. Children and international users
MSvix is intended for adults and is not designed for children without appropriate guardian and professional involvement. Regional rules may apply to handling sensitive health data, including GDPR requirements for EU/EEA users. Launch in new regions requires a jurisdiction-specific legal review.
9. Contact and updates
Questions about privacy should be directed to husame@gmail.com. This notice must be updated whenever material app practices, service providers, data retention or sharing change.
